Portrait Session Guidelines


WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE YOUR SESSION


  • Prior to your shoot taking place we will do a pre-shoot consultation so that I can tailor your session to you.
  • If you need to contact me about anything, I'm most responsive on my email :) (please allow up to 48hrs for a reply as I don't work every day) If it's urgent, such as on the day of the shoot, it's best to shoot me a text.



WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION


  • My approach is very casual and my goal is to help you and your family feel comfortable and relaxed.
  • Upon arrival, you'll find my studio set-up, based on our previous styling conversations. This includes lighting, backdrops, props and wardrobe.
  • For location sessions: We will meet at an agreed location and I will bring any necessary wardrobe items.
  • The number of different looks & set-ups will be based on your chosen collection.
  • I plan for each session and I shoot with intent, so that I'm not keeping you any longer than I need to. 
  • As we're shooting, I will guide you through the various set-ups and photo combinations, which have been pre-planned and discussed.
  • The number of images I shoot is also determined by the collection that you have chosen.  You'll have the opportunity to make your final selections from your online image gallery.


WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR SESSION


  • Your gallery of PROOF images will be emailed to you within 14 days of your session, with instructions on how to finalise your selections.
  • SNEAK PEEK: I always endeavour to post a sneak peek, within a few days of our session (unless you have opted out) so please be sure to follow me on instagram and Facebook, so that you don't miss out on seeing it!
  • You will have 2 weeks to make your selections before your gallery is archived.
  • (NB a $50 retrieval fee will apply to reactivate an archived galleries)


Please note that my editing style is fine art and painterly in nature but I like my subjects to look natural. If you have specific editing requirements, please chat to me about this.



TURN AROUND TIMES


  • For prints and other products, please allow up to 4 weeks (from the date of selection/payment) for delivery.
